Music is a magical gift we must nourish and cultivate in our children. Studying music during the formative school years has long been noted to improve math and science skills. It has recently become evident through many scientific studies that learning music also contributes to brain development. Children who play a musical instrument have increased communication skills, improved SAT scores, calmer attitudes, boosted self-esteem, and enhanced creative problem solving skills - All of which transfer over to the necessary life skills to become a productive member of our society.
